LSN Contractors & Construction Managers (LSN) is an MBE/DBE Certified construction company that works with owners, owners' representatives, developers, tenants, architects and engineers to coordinate and execute construction projects from conceptual design through completion by identifying the scope of work, working closely with owners, following all applicable safety guidelines and establishing timetables and budgets.

Award Winning
LSN has been awarded the Historical Excellence Award for the work completed on the Arch Street DayCare Facility. The space was part of the Presbyterian Church located at 18th & Arch Streets in Philadelphia that had not been used in over 90 years. LSN converted the space into a daycare facility that benefits many Center City employees searching for that service.

Recognized
LSN was also interviewed for an article published in the Construction Today Magazine for the new construction of the Regional Presbytery Headquarters Building. SAFETY
Our first priority for each project is to identify the specific tasks for the work involved and the associated hazards for those tasks. Once that is established, we perform an analysis to mitigate those hazards.

LSN has a comprehensive safety plan that evolves as the company and technology evolve. We also tailor our safety plan to make it site specific for many projects.

Innovation
Our goal is to streamline the construction process and eliminate response lead times by handling shop drawings, RFIs and other construction related tasks electronically. This results in shorter project schedules and happier clients.

Training
One of the keys to our success is the ongoing personnel training for field and office personnel to ensure that we are in compliance with all current OSHA standards. Field personnel are required to participate in weekly tool box talks to discuss topics including, but not limited to: Fall Protection, Personal Protective Equipment, Proper Lifting Techniques, Tool Use & Maintenance.
All foremen and project managers are OSHA-30 certified and all laborers are OSHA-10 certified at a minimum.

From our project managers to the field personnel, our experienced team will be with you every step of the way throughout the completion of your project.

Communication
Our project managers work very closely with field personnel to ensure materials are on site in a timely fashion, the correct manpower is being utilized for each task, the proper tools are on site, equipment and material approvals are submitted on time to allow the project schedule to run smoothly.

LSN's CEO, Randy Washington, has over 25 years experience with high level construction (new construction & renovations) including Pharmaceutical Facilities, GMP sterile clean suites, Higher Education facilities, Affordable Housing, Hotels & Casinos, Communications Facilities, Historical Buildings, Government Facilities and Commercial Construction. Combined, LSN staff has over 100 years of project experience.

PROJECTS
HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO
LSN is taking part in the revitalization of Atlantic City. The Hard Rock Café is putting it's stamp on Atlantic City with the renovation of the old Taj Mahal. The entire building is being newly renovated and LSN has been awarded demolition and carpentry for the new renovations. LSN will also be constructing the new grand entrance portals for the main entrance of the new Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
TEMPLE UNIVERSITY GLADFELTER HALL
LSN built a new lecture studio in Gladfelter Hall. This new space was created with HVAC supplied from new reheat coils, new electrical distribution, new sprinkler and fire alarm, custom millwork, custom finishes and storefront glazing system. New plumbing was also be installed for newly constructed restrooms.
TEMPLE UNIVERSITY ACADEMIC RESOURCE CENTER
LSN was awarded the construction of the roof top mock-ups for the proposed addition of the Academic Resource Center. The project included work required for the City's Historic Commission for the building's new construction 6th floor addition.
TEMPLE UNIVERSITY ROCK HALL
LSN recently renovated an existing space within Rock Hall to accommodate the Dean's new office and conference center. LSN was responsible for all Demolition, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Sprinkler, Flooring, Painting, Doors, Frames & Hardware and Carpentry for the project.
TEMPLE UNIVERSITY BEURY HALL LAB 325
LSN converted what used to be a full service chemistry lab into new office space needed for staff. New openings were cut into the existing corridor masonry walls and they seamlessly blended in with all of the existing openings. LSN was responsible for all Demolition, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Sprinkler, Flooring, Painting, Doors, Frames & Hardware and Masonry for the project.
PRESBYTERIAN HEADQUARTERS
The newly constructed 9,000 sq ft facility is the regional headquarters for 137 churches in the surrounding region. Construction included a geothermal ground water source heating system, 100,000 gallon stormwater retention basin with porous bituminous paving, water efficient toilet rooms, clerestory windows and skylights for natural lighting, exterior sunshades and many other attributes that allowed the owner to obtain a LEED Silver certification (although the owner did not pursue this certification).
ARCH STREET PRESCHOOL
This project won the Historic Renovation award for turning an early 1900s space, that had not been used in close to 100 years, into a modern daycare facility used daily by those that work in the area. Each classroom boasts 18 foot high ceilings with custom woodwork that matches the original trim in the space. The existing roll up doors that had not been used in almost a century were removed, refurbished and re-installed for daily use.
